Deacon Mike is a native of Yankton, South Dakota and the eldest of 14 children.  He and his wife Cindy have 4 children and 9 grandchildren.  Mike is employed full-time as an advertising salesman for The Papers Inc. and Cindy works in the Vigo County Public Defender Office.  Deacon Mike was one of 25 men ordained into the permanent deaconate on June 28th, 2008  by Archbishop Daniel M. Buechlein.  He serves the parish communities of St. Margaret Mary and St. Patrick, and at Union Hospital here in Terre Haute.
